Augusto Marín is of one of Puerto Rico's most celebrated artists. He is recognized as one of the island premier creators. 

With the purpose to build up our inventory, for seventeen years, since year 2000, we gathered directly from Augusto Marín art print lots of every one of the limited editions that he created. We own the inventory of art prints that we offer. This makes possible for us to offer these items to the public at this time at favorable prices. 

Collector’s item-“Primavera en Virginia” Is one of the original handmade lithographs of a very limited edition created by artist Augusto Marín. Print is hand numbered and signed by the artist in the year 2003 when the edition was made. Size 28”x 46” bleed (no white paper margins). Art printed over maximum quality, heavy weight, art textured pulp paper. At the lower right corner, by the edition number, the print is stamped with Marin’s exclusive seal of certification. Also included is a certificate of authenticity and value. It is a limited art edition of only 250 art prints. Art offered is unframed.  

Career facts-During his prolific professional career of more than fifty years in fine art, Augusto Marín was a most prominent Puerto Rican artists of the 20th Century. During the expansion of his career Marín formally studied and mastered: architectural mural, large format painting, art lithograph and silk screen printing, drawing, engraving and sculpture. He participated in more than 60 national and international art exhibitions. Since the sixties, his art has been included in the mayor museums and private art collections of Puerto Rico: Art Museum of PR, Art Museum of Ponce (PR), San Juan Art and History Museum, University of Puerto Rico Anthropology, History and Art Museum. And also in the following important private collections: Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, First bank of PR, Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples de PR. One of Augusto Marín’s linoleum engravings of 1959 titled “Cabeza de Cristo" was acquired that year by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and also by the Museum of Modern Art (New York).This engraving forms part the Latin American Art Print Collection of both museums. Marín’s art is also in art collections abroad located in: Monte Carlo, Germany and Japan. Also in the following states in USA: New York, Florida, California, Wyoming and Indiana. Augusto Marín is Puerto Rico’s most proficient architectural mural creator. Having created some 10 monumental murals, all of which are in existence and considered land marks in the island urban landscape. Sadly our celebrated artist passed away in April of 2011 at the age of 90 years.
