This is an absolutely beautiful chunky charm bracelet made of what I believe are faceted Lucite beads or charms that remind me of lanterns that are capped with gold tone metal ornate lacy filigree caps. The charms are in shades of yellow/citrine, pink, cobalt blue, purple, turquoise, root beer/amber and lavender and hang from a goldtone metal rope like link chain. This bracelet was made by Napier and is signed “NAPIER” on the fold over clasp, with no copyright symbol (see photo). The bracelet measures approximately 7 ½ inches long. There are a total of 21 charms. The 11 large multicolor charms extend approximately 1 ½ inches from the chain and the 10 smaller pink ones extend 1 inch. This is probably from the 1940s to early 1950s. I have seen these in a silver tone metal, but not in the gold tone like this one is.
It is in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. None of the charms are chipped, cracked or damaged and there is no metal loss or tarnishing that I can see, just the slight normal wear you would expect on a bracelet that has been worn over the years.
