It depends. The Amazon Fire TV/TV Stick and associated apps offer a tremendous amount of on demand content. The content available on the Kodi and Mobdro applications can vary in quality and availability.

Graphics for the menus are downloaded from the internet and cached on the Fire TV/TV Stick device the first time a menu is accessed. Sequential loads of the same menu should see considerable performance improvement.
