A Patt-O-Rama 8283 from Grit…a Half Size Dress Vintage Sewing Pattern in Size 12 ½, Bust 33 inches.

The unprinted pattern is uncut and in original folds.  The instructions are there with tanning.  The mailing envelope is in good vintage condition with tanning, wear, tears, and foxing.  Postmark 1966.

Half Sizes were designed for shorter women with lower busts and more hourglass body shapes.

As most vintage sewing patterns will need some adjustment to adapt to today's body silhouette, altering a Half Size to a Misses or Womens can be done at the same time.

There is no written description.  Dress has a double breasted front closure with buttons and snaps.  Skirt and Bodice dart fit to the waistline seam.  Skirt has back kick pleat.  Instructions for bound buttonholes are in the directions.  Suggested fabrics are cotton, Dacron, silk, acetate, cotton knits, flannel and sheer wool.
