**I LOVE plants that can be neglected and still thrive well!** **GROWN ON OUR FARM HERE IN TENNESSEE** ** 5 GIANT PURPLE APPLE BERRY SEEDS** The color purple especially calls to me. And no shade is lovelier than the fruit of the purple apple berry (Billardiera longiflora), also called climbing blueberry. It's a tasty treat, too. Apple berries are evergreen climbers that reach 6 to 8 feet tall -- almost a cross between a shrub and a vine. This Tasmania native twines up any available support. The trumpet-shaped flowers are charming. Pendulous, 1 1/2-inch-long, single or occasional clusters of pale yellow-green, these slightly fragrant blooms emerge from early summer through September. Traces of purple appear as flowers develop. Shiny, soft purple-blue berries up to 3/4 inch long follow. White-berried cultivar 'Fructualbo' is also available, bearing fruit that looks a little like molars. The fruit may keep on the shrub for months -- sometimes until January if not eaten by birds, or me. #1127 .*** WE OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!! ******* THAT'S 5 SEEDS *** THAT'S 5 PLANTS ******** **** MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR "RARE" AND "GIANT" AUCTION'S ***** RobsRAREandGIANTseeds
