This hand wrought hammered aluminum tray shows the scene of a unique windmill, small cottage, mountains, clouds, docked boat, and trees by a canal. Fluted edges give the appearance of a "pie crust" trim. Unusual decorative twisted handles at each end are attached by rivets. A flower/leaf design appears at each end of the handle. Hammered aluminum items were very popular as wedding gifts in the 50's.  They are still very collectible today! Measures 18" x 12.5" Look for oher hammered aluminum in my booth.
