This is a vintage pottery rooster and hen set by Royal Windsor and these are the "Small Chickens".



Royal Windsor line was produced by the Spaulding China Company.

Spaulding China Company operated from 1942 to 1957 in Sebring, Ohio. Marketed based on titles chosen to denote levels of “sophistication” the merchandise was all of very high quality. “Royal Windsor” and “Spaulding” were marketed to high end shops and department stores.



Nice glaze and muted colors. There is crazing underglaze on both pieces. The Rooster has a break on the lower end tip of his tail which has been glued.



Rooster is 7-1/8" tall, 6" long and about 3" wide. Hen is 6-1/2" tall, 4 3/4" long and 3" wide.
