This is a Cupples & Leon volume 3 in the Kay Tracey series by Frances K. Judd.   

It is a thick book with yellow green boards, red board lettering, multi-pictorial/floral black and white edged endpapers with cameos.

John Axe Format I.  (See The Secret of Collecting Girls' Series Books by John Axe.)  Question mark symbol and black bars on dust jacket spine are features of the first Cupples and Leon format.

Dust jacket front flap lists to Kay Tracey #7 The Secret at the Windmill. 

In good condition, with good firm spine and foxed pages, but no rips/tears, and beyond prior owner's name, no writing/markings.  The reason we don't classify this one as "very good" is because there is side block dustiness and dust jacket grundginess, plus a horizontal dust jacket chip (see picture).   Glossy frontispiece art.
