STUNNING Vintage Deco CZECH PINK necklace.This exquisitely detailed heavy necklace is really a piece of jewelry history with all pink czech and bohemian glass beads. Fashioned in lavaliere form, this spectacular necklace has a gracefully pink glass, bezel set (which helps date it) cabachon, set in a domed openwork centerpiece that has exquisite filigree . Under the center piece is a venetian hand painted glass drop. 18kt gold is the paint used to make these fabulous old beads. It is highly dimensional with Art Nouveau elements that cage this soft pink czech slag glass stone This is set into one of the most elaborate settings I have seen with scroll work, filigree, and rolled lace brass that surrounds the stone. This ornate long frame has filigree and painted glass pink drops and match the two side swags that hang from the original necklace. Keep in mind these brass and painted venetian glass are HUGE! Not your average brass and glass spacers, these are the size of large marbles. The slender brass chain has a filigree slide in book clasp. The chain measures 20? long and the drop is an additional 4?. This has wonderful rich patina which has darkened to the glow of a golden brass and is in very good shape. Very few spots of wear and a necklace you surely can not do without! Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect.
