He arrived, looked around, found a comfortable place and sat down.
The villagers asked him, “What are you going to do?” to which he just looked at them, and continued just to sit, doing “nothing.” One day passed and the next day passed, the villagers were getting confused and some began regretting their decision to have invited this man.
Still, the Taoist magician did nothing. He just sat, relaxed and seemed to enjoy his time. Then, on the third day, something miraculous happened. Clouds appeared in the sky and suddenly, with a clash of thunder, rain began pouring. The villagers as surprised as they were happy.
They ran to the Taoist magician who was already standing and preparing for his journey back.
“What happened?” they asked. “You see, your village became imbalanced mostly because you people had become agitated and imbalanced. Because of this, rain stopped pouring here, crops withered, and women and men suffered infertility. By coming here, I was myself. Balanced. And this balance power slowly emanated and radiated from me outward. I only restored balance to this village, and once that was done, rain arrived, crops will grow, and you will have children.”
It was simple as that. Balance.
Wealth cannot accumulate if you are not balanced. What is it that some people will squander their lotto or casino wins while others will keep it and make it grow? Why is it that some celebrity athletes, singers and actors lose all their wealth and declare bankruptcy? Because there is lack of balance within them. It is only with balance, that everything grows.
