'FUZZY II'

This 8 x 10-inch signed and framed art print was purchased from the artist's booth at the local Brentwood, California, summer art fair during the late 1990s. The image itself measures 3 3/4 inches high x 4 3/4 inches wide. The print is in excellent condition; after being exhibited briefly on a shelf, it was placed into storage away from light until now. The frame consists of glass placed over the matted print & sealed with black tape around the edges. It has a stiff cardboard backing with the artist's Gallery Leu golden authentication sticker in the center. The sticker gives the address & phone numbers of Gallery Leu Inc. and has a copyright of 1997 (see pictures).

The image is a seascape with water and a beach in the far background, with two beach houses leading up to the window wherein sleeps an orange tabby cat named Fuzzy, next to a vase of vivid yellow, Impressionistic flowers and a cobalt blue shutter on the right. Beneath the image on the left-hand side, Michael Leu has printed in pencil 'FUZZY II', and on the right-hand side he has signed it 'm. Leu'.
