This is a delightful Studio Art Pottery Casserole Dish that comes with a lid and was hand thrown on a potters wheel. It has a Modernistic look to it and has an unglazed bottom. The rest is glazed in Tan, Brown, and White colors. The white has bubbles in the glaze that burst during firing leaving behind an interesting texture. This piece is very sturdy and looks like it has hardly been used. There is an opening in the lid to accommodate a long handled spoon or ladle. The handles have been applied by hand and the contacts points are decoratively crafted. The sides and lid bear abstract dragonfly shapes which create a whimsical look to the over all design.
