Mountain scenes, with slopes receding in the distance, have inspired another piece here. The batiks with their similar zigzag patterns provided two of the slopes, and the other fabrics joined in as the furthest slope and as bushes or trees. The wonderful sky fabric then fit itself in as the backdrop to the mountains' beauty, with a touch of silver foil in the clouds, a bit of glisteny foil on the upper slopes and an accent of green foil in the foliage.

My artwork is mounted on foam core, which creates a light-weight but rigid piece with a wire for hanging and  a felt backing.  It is treated with a sun-block spray, although prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may eventually cause fading.
