JDSU FBP-HD3 Hand Held Display
Hand Held Video Display 1.8 TFT LCD The HD3 is a Hand Held Video Display that fits in the palm of a users hand. It features a 1.8 TFT LCD screen and a includes an input for Westovers FBP series probe microscopes. Features of the compat HD3 includes the battery-saving GripSwitch power mode and a power supply that will also charge the battery when the display is not in use.
JDSU FBP Probe Microscope
The FBP video probe microscope, with dual-magnification (200/400X), is the essential inspection tool for use with JDSU test platforms. The key components of the probe include an integrated light source, a 1/3-inch complimentary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) video camera, and a focusing mechanism. It utilizes a blue coaxial light emitting diode (LED) light source with an advanced camera system to produce a high resolution fiber end face image. It fits and operates comfortably and easily in-hand, letting users inspect hard-to-reach connectors that are installed on the backside of patch panels or inside optical devices. The focus control is conveniently located on the probe to easily adjust the focus of the fiber image, the dual-magnification control lets users quickly change between high- and low-magnification views.
JDSU Visual Fault Locator / VFL
The JDSU Visual Fault Locator features a powerful 650-nm Class 2 red laser with 1-mW max output power for up to 4 km for single mode and 3 km for multimode applications. Locate damaged, broken or tightly bent areas in single mode and multimode fiber cable while in continuous or flashing mode. Cable sheath will illuminate red at exact site of damage. Features a standard 2.5-mm interface for SC/ST/FC connectors, 1.25mm LC adapter and rubberized safety grip.
USB Analog-to-Digital Converter
The USB 1.1 converter is an upgrade kit for use with FBP-series probes. Use with JDSU test platforms or PC/laptop via a USB connection to visually inspect fiber end faces It lets users quickly and easily view, capture, save, and print images of fiber end faces. It features an image capture button to conveniently and instantly capture fiber end face images on screen. PLEASE NOTE: FiberCheck software not included but can be easily obtained online from manufacturer.
