This sale is for a 12ml Roll-On glass bottle of pure BHA Salicylic Acid Skin Peel, your choice of % strength.

I am an industrial formulation chemist by trade and have derived a pure grade of Salicylic Acid which uses pharmaceutical grade salicylic acid and pure pharmaceutical grade isopropanol as the only ingredients.  There are no chemical preservatives or additives.

Salicylic Acid is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy acid) found naturally deep in the heart of Willow Bark and Sweet Birch trees. It is a highly effective skin peeling agent and an excellent pore cleanser with anti-wrinkle and anti-acne properties.  It works by gently removing old cells from the skin allowing it to be replaced with healthy skin; boosts collagen production and in turn balances oil production (less acne and blemishes); and lessens the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Salicylic Acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect. This acid is able to penetrate the oily material blocking pores and flush it out.

A chemical peel is a body treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off.  Unlike Glycolic and Lactic Acids which are gradual peels, using a Salicylic peel may cause visible peeling that can last up to 3 days.

Please note that Salicylic Acid Peels are not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation.

Salicylic Acid is used for the following conditions:

Acne, Acne Scars, Blackheads/Whiteheads, Dry Skin, Sun-damaged Skin, Blotchy Pigmentation, Fine Wrinkles, Loss of Elasticity, Large Pores, Bumps, Rosacea, Age Spots/Dark Spots, Seborrheic Keratosis, Hyperkeratosis, and Actinic keratosis

Salicylic Acid is a Medium Peel, first timers should use a 5% strength.  It is effective in combating excess oil output and cleansing of pores.  Only to be used once per a week.

Directions for use

Initially perform a spot skin test before applying the Salicylic acid skin peel to the full area.

Spot test on inside of wrist: Roll-On a small amount of Salicylic acid skin peel solution to the inside of the wrist in a circular motion.  Wait and confirm that no irritation has occurred, then apply as normal to the face as detailed below.

Applying to face:

1.  Cleanse face with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.

2. Apply the Roll-On Salicylic Acid BHA solution in a circular motion.

3. Leave on for 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on skin sensitivity.

4. Rinse well with warm water

5. Apply Moisturizer and sunscreen (if required)

6. Repeat every one or two weeks

7. After 2 months, allow the skin a one month to rest and begin again.

Packaging

The 12ml of Roll-On Salicylic acid Skin Peel treatment will be supplied in a 12ml Roll-On glass bottle with lid and sent in a strong Jiffy bag.
