Red Mulberry is my personal favourite of the mulberry varieties for their sweet and tart flavour. These red mulberry seeds are just in, fresh, and are hand selected to ensure high germination. Grow your own tree with these seeds, then make Jelly, Jam, wine, juice, Mulberry Jerky, fruit roll ups etc. The fresh juice is high in Anthocyanins and shown to regulate type 2 diabetes insulin levels. The leaves make an excellent and healthy tea, vegetable, and animal fodder. The wood is useful to carpenters. The bark is high in resveratrol. The twigs can be used in basket making.
We keep berries in the freezer year round for waffles, cookies, breads etc.
