OM symbol yoga inspired necklace features a silver tone OM pendant (charm). OM is an important symbol in yoga. OM is sometimes spelled AUM as well. In the Sankskrit letter the long lower curve represents the dream state, the upper curve stands for the waking state and the curve issuing from the center symbolizes deep, dreamless sleep. The crescent shape stands for maya, the veil of illusion, and the dot for the transcendental state. It is said that when the individual spirit in man passes through the veil and rests in the transcendental he is liberated from the three states and their qualities.

SIZE AND MATERIAL:

The necklace chain is 18 1/4 inches long, including the clasp. The clasp is a lobster claw and chain tag closure, which is the standard style of necklace clasp.

The OM charm is just under 1-inch long.

Necklace is made of zinc alloy. It looks like silver and is known for durability and resistance to tarnish. The OM charm has black accent coloring.
