Available here is this really nice old primitive mid-century painted wood dough bowl. These were commonly used to place fruit in or actually used to kneed dough in for making bread, biscuits or pastries. Most of these old wooden bowls were made out of hardwoods such as maple or oak.

DESCRIPTION: Fruit motif painted bowl with an oval shape measuring in at 11" inches by 10-1/4" inches by 2-3/4" inches tall by 6/16" inch thick. This might possibly be made out of maple hardwood and has a shiny smooth finish, without any paint fading or loss.

CONDITION: Excellent condition and looks to have been hardly used at all. There are however, some minor scratches and rubs to the underside and one tiny scratch on the inside of the bowl that would not be noticeable when placing fruit inside. There is no maker's mark and it does not have any cracks, chips or breakage.
