For your consideration, here is a WWII USS New Jersey BB-62 Printed Thank You Note to Puget Sound Navy Yard personnel, following overhauls and repairs. It was in the Puget Sound Navy Yard, in the final months of the war. It shows comments from the captain inside.

It measures 5 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches, unfolded. It was in a scrapbook and has some glue remains and missing paper on the back. It has some tanning from age.
