Smoky Quartz, mined in Brazil -- A soft, sultry smoky color. Best yet, these are concave cut -- not flat facets, but concave. Also called Quantum Cut, they suit the stone very well, and throw the nicest sparkle and fire.

This ring sits nicely on the finger, heavy filigree, center stone displayed well. This is a seriously solid ring.

In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this double pronged (8 in total) simple basket mounting with wings running down the sides. Please note the thickness of the Sterling Silver. This is a good solid mounting.

At SylvaRocks, all of our Sterling Silver is made with a state of the art alloy which modifies the traditional Sterling Silver alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid Germanium. Adding Germanium to the Sterling Silver results in a highly tarnish resistant silver. Since the resulting metal is still 92.5% pure silver, is still qualifies as Sterling Silver -- just better.
