This is part of an antique lot of sugar tongs I have collected for years that are all sterling. This one has the pierced sterling eagle talons or claws on the end. I collect a lot of figural aesthetic items where the figures are animals or figures. This one is hallmarked with a crown and M and a lion ( see photos) and sterling . These measure 3 1/2" long and are in excellent condition.
