Solid wood bowl w/ four rubber feet so it doesn't slip/slide on counter. Blade is stainless steel, with wood handles. Place your herbs in the bowl and rock the knife back & forth to chop. New in box. It measures approx:  8 x 8 x 1 1/2  inches, the blade is 5 ½ inches x 1 1/4 inches.
