The 18V LXT® 18" Telescoping Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer features a Makita-built motor that delivers up to 3,600 SPM for faster cutting with an 18-1/2” dual-action double-sided shear blade. It has 10 angle settings with 135° of working range, making it very efficient at trimming overhead and at ground level for low lying hedges. The telescoping shaft easily adjusts from a length of six to eight feet to allow access to taller hedges or to trim underneath a hedge without stooping down. It weighs up to 60% less than gas models and features a soft-grip handle for increased user comfort. It is also engineered with Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) for improved resistance to dust and water when used outdoors. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
