We have replaced all our grass with this wonderful, steppable, perrennial grass replacement! No more mowing for us!! Last summer after the entire patch flowered & set on seeds; I harvested them & now have them to share with anyone wanting to try something other than grass. I have included 12 pictures so that you can see what it looks like both in flower & not. The last 3 pictures show a small area I planted on June 1st.  The 1st picture was taken about 6 weeks after planting; the next at about 8 weeks; and the last picture taken exactly 3 months after planting.  

I just cannot rave about this plant enough! Besides being steppable, it’s drought tolerant, pollinators love it but mosquitoes hate it. Great as a lawn replacement that doesn’t need mowing but also works great in rock gardens & between stepping stones. Definitely a win/win kind of plant!!
