Filter has been used, but it is in very good condition. Glass is not scratched. But I see coating separation. It looks like a 40mm circle. So coating is separating at the rim. But most likely it will now show up in pictures. Damage is minor. It is very hard to notice on the filter itself, you have to bounce the light to notice it ( I have checked pictures and separation does not show up, it is too faint to see it). Not sure if you can see it in the pictures.  Filter rim looks good. Thread are not damaged. 

You can try the filter, test it and if you don't like it just mail it back for a refund.
