When it comes to sheets we are all familiar with the "higher the thread count, the better the sheets". Well that phrase can be misleading. We need to look at the type of weave, the type of cotton, and the country of origin. We have all seen those crazy 1200 thread count sheets and for those of us that thought they would be amazing, we were sorely mistaken. At Pike's, we are not fans of microfibers or cheap sheets. We actually were called "Picky Picky Pikes" by a few people. So when we tell you that these Percale sheets are amazing, we mean it. Percale is not the traditional Sateen weave that most people are familiar with. Percale sheets have a tighter weave and are usually made with long staple fibers. Long Staple fibers give you a smoother finish that is less itchy. Now we won't lie. Percale can take some getting used to. Personally, we prefer to wash them at least twice before ever using them to break the fibers in. But once you do... you will fall in love. Full Size: 1 Fitted Sheet - 54" x 75" x 16" 1 Flat Sheet - 94" x 104" 2 Standard Pillowcases - 21" x 31"
