This two book series focuses on the modern works of man in ancient times.  There are over 1,000 photographic illustrations and many maps. The books are dense and heavy.

These books over 60 years old so you should expect wear on the outside cover and a light separation of the binding from the cover. Although most of the books are free of marks and tears, one page was found with a small tear at the bottom and some red dots.
