Vintage 1953 National Intercollegiate Basketball Tip-Off Tournament Ticket, Kansas City, Missouri. This ticket was for December 19, 1953, reserved section for coaches and officials. The tournament was play at Municipal Stadium. The ticket has a few bends and marks on the front and back. Good condition for the age.   This is a great opportunity to own this Rare piece of sports history!

This item is one of many we bought from the Bill Grigsby Estate.  Bill started broadcasting KU Football & Basketball games in 1957, including the first nationally televised Final Four game.  He went on to broadcast the Kansas City Athletics in 1959, then Bill was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1963 and was with them until he retired in 2009.  Bill passed away in 2011.  Great item from this Kansas City sports legend.
