Cocoa can be described in several ways:
Fruit: The cocoa fruit, also known as cob, is a thick shell that contains 20 to 50 seeds. The seeds are large, chocolate or purple, and have a bitter taste. They are covered by a white and sweet pulp.
Tree: The cocoa tree has an evergreen and can grow up to 10 meters in height. It needs a humid and warm climate, with temperatures between 20 and 30°C, and a soil rich in nitrogen, magnesium and potassium.
Powder: Cocoa powder is a concentrated product obtained from the paste of cocoa beans. It is used as a flavoring ingredient in drinks and in the production of chocolate.
