Gerz Beer Stein Napoleon Waterloo Bei 1813 DGBM Pewter Lid Handgemalt 11 W Germany 7.5" RARE

This rare Gerz lidded beer stein, made in West Germany, is a unique piece of vintage as well as historical memorabilia that features a wrap around art work graphic print design, entitled Napoleon Waterloo Bei 1813, commemorating the defeat of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo.

This collectible stein reproduces in stunning detail, "The Battle of Waterloo", a famous painting by Carl von Steuben, that depicts the pivotal moment of the Battle of Waterloo, where Napoleon Bonaparte was decisively defeated, marking the end of his reign.  The painting is often recognized for its detailed portrayal of the chaotic battlefield and Napoleon's determined yet beleaguered stance during the battle.   

Measures 7 1/2" H, 9 1 /2" H to tip of lid.

The lidded stein is stamped Gerz W Germany Handgemalt 11 on the bottom. The pewter lid is marked DGBM and DRM inside a diamond logo.
