This lovely oval mourning brooch is brass with beautiful blue enamel and accents of red and green on the frame. The woven hair is under the original glass. The hardware is a C clasp and Tube hinge. The hair is light brown.    

This is a larger brooch measuring approx 1.5" x 2." across to the end of the pin stem that extends beyond the edge of the pin.  The glass is nice.  The backside is crumpled / has waves but is stable.  One end of the backside is raised a bit but the insides have not been compromised.  The pin stem has the usual wave but seats into the C catch just fine.  

Not perfect but a nice old pin that was loved dearly by someone in our past. A must have for your mourning collection!
