Firespike (Mottled Toothedthread) is a showy evergreen shrub with stiff branches that grows in an upright direction and produces clusters of unique waxy tubular red flowers.

This plant is a wonderful pollinator and is especially beneficial to bees, butterflies, and humming birds especially during fall months when it is one of the few flowers available.
