This is a Model of the ID4 Independence Day Alien Exoskeleton Model Kit #77312 made by Lindberg in 1996.  The box is opened and the kit is complete.  It is complete with instruction sheet, parts, and stand.  The box measures 15" X 11 1/2" X 3" and weighs 14.4 ounces.

The pictures are of the actual item being sold.  It has been stored in a climate controlled environment in a smoke free home.
