This listing is for a Peter Robert Keil (German, born 1942), untitled abstract ink and acrylic on paper portrait.  Signed in lower corner.  Measures 22 inches wide by 28 inches in height.  This will be rolled up to ship.

Influenced by German Expressionism and graffiti elements, Keil is known for his simplified abstractions of traditional art subjects. He studied under Otto Nagel at a young age and developed relationships with other renowned artists such as Joan Miro. As Keil abandoned realism and developed his signature style, he used more vibrant colors rapidly applied with large gestural brushstrokes resembling the abstract style of Picasso.
