Description: This is a vintage Vokar film tank agitator used to agitate the photo chemicals in the tank to keep the liquid moving in order to properly process the film. I have tested this item and it vibrates and turns on and off with the attached switch. While researching this item I was only able to find one reference and it was on the website of the "Argus Museum and it was attributed to the "Henry Gambino Collection". The description on the website says "A plug in device that wraps around a film tank and vibrates. There is a metal ring attached to a cylinder with the motor inside that has a switch on the top".
