General care:  This is new discovery and quite stunning miniature Dendrobium species with huge blooms, belonging to same family as hekouense or wangliangii. It was recently discovered in nursery in Laos without any luck finding these in situ, so not much info is available. Pseudobulbs are truly mini – miniature size, but blooms are giant! We grow them as hekouense. Grows best under cold to warm conditions, in bright shade to bright filtered light, with good air movement and drying out slightly between waterings. Goes completely deciduous or semi-deciduous depending on growing culture – do not fertilize from end of October, and do not water when leafless but keep occasional light misting to keep pseudobulbs from shriveling. We've seen plants grown on walls that are watered year round and do not go completely dormant having some active growing leaves year-round. If your plant has growths that are still active growing with roots during the winter time, just reduce watering but do not stop completely. Can be grown potted or mounted. Great for windowsills, greenhouses, outdoor growing in proper zones year-round.
