This is a new roll, holds really well. Outer plastic is torn a little, not effecting the roll at all. This Bradylock fastener is made of self-locking heavy duty plastic with excellent chemical resistance. This is proprietary to Brady, and comes at a considerably large price as you can see from their site. Offered here for much less. Unlike Velcro in which there are 2 parts to make a strong connection, this one only needs the one, whereas it actually connects to itself as long as the pronged side is used together.
