For your consideration is a vintage photograph of military planes.  These 2 are of the VS31 Squadron also known as "Topcats".  They were a scouting squadron in 1942 during World War II and from 1948-2008 were anti-submarine warfare planes.  Each is 8 x 10 in the landscape position.  The one with the single plane does have some yellow on the left side, but looks like it may have been the film as the staining does not show on the back.
