Synopsis:
This drama tells the history of the reign of Roman Emperor Vespasian (played by Anthony Hopkins), who became emperor after experiencing bloody turmoil. Vespasian is getting older and older. On the one hand, he needs to face contempt from the upper echelons of the Roman aristocracy, and on the other hand, he needs to be wary of their attempts to replace him.
The drama is one of the historical Gladiator series produced by Peacock, a streaming platform owned by Comcast in the United States.
