One of the more unique items I’ve come across. This is a sterling silver garlic bulb. It’s life size, comparable to a garlic bulb I could get at the grocery store. It uses straw and a blue bead as a splash of organic color.

I cannot find a makers mark, I’ve scoured the entire piece looking. All that exists is a 925 mark. I suspect that it is not solid silver and likely a silver veneer over some solid piece but it does mold like electroformed silver, nor does it give like weighted silver. It weighs 162 grams so if it’s solid, it’s over 5 ozt but I dare not to drill in to it. I don’t want to ruin such an odd and unique piece.
