This is the sweetest little child's plate featuring Beatrix Potter's book, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.

Around the rim, a quote from the book
"Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Lucie, who lived at a farm called Little-town.
She was a good little girl - only she was always losing her pocket-handkerchiefs!"
The central motif features Lucie and Tom Kitten, in a chicken yard on the farm.
There's also Mrs. Tiggywinkle, a hedgehog, and two little squirrels.
6.75" in diameter.
In excellent very gently pre-owned condition, with no obvious signs of a previous life.
It looks new.

This was in my mother's things - she kept it for use by my daughter when she was little, back in the early 1980's. My mother was obsessed with Beatrix Potter!
I hope it can find a home with another grandma, or a collector who will love it
