Vintage  FQF 1984 - Ceramic Face Mask New Orleans Signed by Artist

This beautiful mask features a reddish/maroon colored heart drawn on forehead matching the color of the lips with an off-white/ivory color-like background and green, yellow and  purplish stripes diagonally crossing from one side of the forehead to down past the eye of the other side.

Signed by artist "MAVIS". FQF 1984 New Orleans.

The first French Quarter Festival (FQF) was held in New Orleans from April 6–8, 1984

The April 6-8, 1984, festival featured music at several locations, including on Royal Street, Chartres Street, Bourbon Street and Wilkinson Row. It began with a dedication of the newly resurfaced Bourbon Street pedestrian mall and a parade. There was a battle of the bands contest emceed by Ed McMahon of “The Tonight Show” and “Star Search.”

The FQF is a beloved celebration of New Orleans culture that's consistently voted as a favorite festival by locals. The festival is produced by the private, non-profit organization French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI).
