Legendary comic creator John Byrne (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Superman, etc.), a longtime Star Trek fan, has created several Trek comics for IDW, but none more ambitious, or difficult, than New Visions. Using existing images from the Original Series, Byrne creates entirely new stories (manipulating them in Photoshop and creating new backdrops and locations using 3D model programs). The results are amazing. So much so that even William Shatner is impressed with them. It was at his request that Byrne agreed to make an extremely rare convention appearance for the exclusive signing event at the 2018 Fan Expo Boston.
The omnibus, which collects together nine of Byrne's stories into a 360 page volume, is an exclusive available only at Fan Expo's Boston Comic Con (2018). It is individually numbered and limited to only 500 produced (this is #65). Signed by hand by both Shatner and Byrne, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- the signatures are real. They are the actual, hand-signed signatures of Shatner and Byrne. They are not pre-printed images in the book. Book is in new and unread condition and will be shipped with the utmost care.
