This unbelievably luxurious vintage cape/ stole/wrap comprises 14 Minks with dark brown velvet in the folds. It has a covered corded snap closer; typically, the heads are also there. This is so soft and luxurious that you could picture any glamour star from the past in this cocktail party! It is not lined underneath, but the underbellies of the furs line it. It feels perfect on bare shoulders.

This stole belonged to Sonja Loew, a Czech who married theater magnate E. M. Loew and was fabulous for her generosity, outrageous outfits, and indecipherable accent. She is sitting next to Zsa Zsa Gabor in this photo. You can bet she went a few places in this stole!

Note: it looks reddish in the photos but is actually very dark brown.
