Fabulous Russian Sable( see tag photo) Fur Stole & Matching Pillbox Hat Vintage 1950s Brown -stunning set, and the 3-pelt stole has the words "Harry's Wife Pearl Druyan" embroidered on the velvet on the stole. It is in perfect vintage condition, the ONLY flaw is the alligator clips on the end tend to slip when clipped on.
It measures: 37" long and about 9" wide
The high pillbox hat is also in beautiful condition, and the circumference inside is: 21.5" and it is 7" tall.

Interesting tidbit about the owner's husband-Harry Druyan of Cayuga Heights died at home, in his 100th year, surrounded by his family on October 28th.
Born in New York City on April 19th, 1917, he overcame severe childhood illness and poverty, to graduate from New York University with a degree in journalism.
He went on to co-found Hercules-Carnation, Inc., a knitwear company and built a better life for his whole family without ever losing his compassion and respect for those who still struggle.
He was the son of the late Benjamin and Tillie (Goody) who taught him how to love with all of his heart and to be kind.
He was a true brother to Freida Freshman and Rebecca Eichner for their whole lives. His wife, Pearl (Goldsmith) pre-deceased him in 2005 after 65 years of marriage.
It was Pearl who persuaded him to explore the farthest reaches of our planet.
He was the most conscientious, generous, and tender-loving father and father-in-law to Les (Viky Norma Rojas) and Ann (the late Carl Sagan.) Yes, the daughter of Pearl and Harry was Carl Sagan's wife!
