The UniFi Building-to-Building Network Bridge by Ubiquiti Networks offers a simple, high-speed solution for connecting the networks of two separate buildings, delivering gigabit performance. This 2-pack of radios comes with a pole mounting kit, enabling rooftop installation on each building. The radios establish a connection using a 60 GHz signal, achieving bi-directional speeds exceeding 1.7 Gb/s.
The radios require a direct line of sight for optimal connection. Built-in LED rings provide visual guidance for alignment. Misalignment causes the rings to glow red, while a correctly aligned connection turns the rings solid blue, ensuring accurate positioning.
To maintain speeds of up to 1.7+ Gb/s, the radios use a 60 GHz signal. However, this signal can weaken due to obstacles or adverse weather. For added reliability, a 5 GHz backup signal activates if needed, though speeds will be reduced when using the backup.
Each radio features a single Gigabit PoE connection, allowing for both power and data transfer. This simplifies setup, enabling the bridge to be operational within minutes.
With an unobstructed line of sight, the UniFi Network Bridge can connect networks up to 1640 feet apart.
The UniFi Network Controller app, available for iOS and Android, allows users to configure and monitor the system remotely. This centralized platform supports end-to-end management of network devices across multiple locations.
