Original glass negative 4 X 5" from Duluth Photo Engravers, Duluth Minnesota. Circa 1917; sent to Arthur Twohy in Los Angeles. Twohy was the founder of the Horseless Carriage Club. Negative is cushioned by four cardboard inserts, shown. Back of box shows instructions for fixing and making prints. Handwritten note in pencil on top of box indicates "Negative of Duluth (unclear possibly 'Pchucht') engine" in Twohy's handwriting. This is from the collection of the founder of the Horseless Carriage Club.
