Our "Red Tip II" is the correct style antenna and is the closest in appearance and in dimensions to the original Hirschmann's that we can find.
We then carefully modify them with a red plastic tip.

This is a brand new antenna.
- This antenna is the same style as the original antenna installed by Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz dealers on their cars of the 50's and 60's
- The antenna includes new coax cable with the correct new Motorola plug for the rear of the radio to ensure a good connection.
- I have installed these for many 356 and 190/300SL customers with complete customer satisfaction.
- I am a PCA and 356 Club and Registry member, and a past 190SL Group member offering a quality product at a fair price to other Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes owners
- This antenna is not being offered anywhere else.
- Shipping is less then other vendors are charging, just our cost, no markup, and with Priority Mail, it should be in your mailbox in 2-3 days
- Please see our other auction for genuine Hirschmann key lock replacement antenna and a modern 200 watt AM/FM radio with ipod inputs that looks like a period correct radio without cutting your dash!
Please note our perfect feedback record for your purchasing confidence. NOTE: I recently attended the Dana Point Concours, an all Porsche show. After viewing some of the over 200 356's on display, very few of the cars present were fitted with red tip antennas, most were the key lock type (Check out my other items available through our other listing). The hardware and appearance of this antenna is very similar to the original Hirschmann and although not an exact replica, I feel a side by side comparison would be necessary for most people to tell the difference. Picky Concours judges will probably be able to tell. Please keep that in mind when purchasing.
