Cactus Thumb Mammillaria Matudae 3" Pot Live Plant

The Mammillaria matudae, also known as the thumb cactus, is a small to medium-sized columnar cactus with the following characteristics:
Appearance

The thumb cactus has cylindrical stems with conical tubercles that produce spines. The spines are white with a yellowish base and the central spine is reddish brown. The cactus produces hot pink to purplish-red flowers in the spring.

Size: The thumb cactus can grow up to 8 inches tall and 1.2 inches wide.
Growth
The thumb cactus is tidy when young, but as it grows it tends to recline and sprawl. It can also offset at the base, producing new arms.

Care: The thumb cactus prefers bright sunlight, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering. It should be protected from frost and extreme heat, and should be moved indoors if there is a risk of freezing temperatures. The ideal temperature range for the growing season is 65–80°F (18–27°C).
