Cast iron bracket sconces such as these typically came in three sizes—this is the larger of the three sizes in this style. This pair has the egg and dart motif around the backplate as you can see. Both back plates are marked "QC".

The sconces have been fully restored. The cast iron was stripped, finished in dead black as they would have been originally, and given a matte finish. They are fitted with wet location sockets for outdoor or indoor applications—we may be the only ones offering wet location sockets in these types of sconces. The thumb screws are new. See photos for conditions of the sconces.

The globes are 7" diameter French crystal. These are hard to find now as the company that made them ceased production. These aren't cheap globes, typically retailing for over $100 each.

The pair are close to identical. One has the backet arm screws threading from the outside (you see them), thus has a wider perimeter flange. The other bracket threads from the back (you don't see them.) Photos 10 and 11 show this detail. One globe holder cup is also thicker than the other, though this is difficult to see.
